One of the most famous movies in Libya is a film call (Loin of the desert) and this movie is about Libyan resistance, History of Libyan as Italian colony and about a Libyan character ,and this character is one of the most famous characters in Libya, his name is Omar Mukhtar; he was born in a small village in 1862, and he lost his father when he was 16 years old, He was the leader of the resistance movement against the Italian colonization of Libya for more than twenty years, he led the Libyan people to the defense of the country, and adopted a fight plan against the Italians, and in one of those fights in 1931 he was arrested and subsequently executed by hanging by the Italians.
